Infrastructure & Network Hardening

Infrastructure hardening that leaves attackers less to work with

Most breaches don’t need a zero-day. They walk through default settings, flat networks, stale admin accounts, and exposed remote access. We harden the infrastructure your business runs on so a single mistake doesn’t become a company-wide incident.

What we harden

We review, redesign, and implement — or guide your IT team through it.

  • Firewalls, VPNs, and edge devices
  • Network segmentation & VLANs
  • Wireless and guest networks
  • Active Directory & Entra ID
  • Windows, macOS & Linux endpoints
  • Servers and virtualization hosts
  • Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Logging and centralized monitoring

Real-world infrastructure experience

We’ve built and secured networks for 24/7 dispatch centers, commercial construction firms, and island resorts where the nearest technician is a boat ride away. That experience keeps hardening practical: tighter security without breaking the operations that pay the bills.

FAQ

Infrastructure & Network Hardening: common questions

Don’t see your question? Ask our security team directly.

What is system hardening?

Hardening reduces a system’s attack surface by removing unnecessary services, applying secure configurations, enforcing least privilege, patching, and enabling logging. It’s one of the most cost-effective ways to prevent common attacks.

Will hardening break our applications?

Not if it’s done carefully. We test changes, roll them out in stages, and keep rollback plans ready. Where a legacy system can’t be hardened, we isolate it and add compensating controls.

Do you work with our existing IT provider?

Yes. Many clients have an internal IT team or managed service provider. We can provide the hardening plan and oversight while they implement, or handle implementation ourselves.
