AI Security & Governance

AI security for the tools you build and the tools you use

AI is changing both sides of security. Attackers use it to move faster, and businesses are deploying chatbots, copilots, and autonomous agents that can be manipulated in entirely new ways. We test your AI applications for prompt injection, data leakage, and excessive agency, and help you govern how employees use AI before “shadow AI” becomes your next data breach.

What we test in AI applications

LLM-powered features introduce risks that traditional application testing doesn’t cover.

  • Direct & indirect prompt injection
  • Sensitive data disclosure
  • Excessive agent permissions & tool abuse
  • Insecure output handling
  • RAG data poisoning & access control
  • Model supply chain & API key exposure

Governing everyday AI use

Employees are already pasting customer data, code, and contracts into AI tools. We help you decide what’s allowed, set up approved tools with the right data protections, and train teams to use AI productively without leaking what matters.

FAQ

AI Security & Governance: common questions

Don’t see your question? Ask our security team directly.

What is prompt injection?

Prompt injection happens when an attacker crafts input — directly, or hidden inside a document, email, or web page the AI reads — that overrides the system’s instructions. It can cause an AI assistant to leak data, take unauthorized actions, or produce harmful output.

Do we need an AI policy if we don’t build AI products?

Yes. If employees use AI tools, sensitive data may already be leaving your organization. An acceptable-use policy, an approved tool list, and basic training significantly reduce that risk.

How is testing an AI agent different from testing a web app?

Agents make decisions and call tools on a user’s behalf, so testing focuses on whether the agent can be manipulated into misusing its permissions, crossing data boundaries, or acting without appropriate human approval.
