Cloud & Microsoft 365 Security

Cloud security for the platforms your business lives in

Your email, files, identities, and applications increasingly live in the cloud — and attackers know it. Account takeover of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace is one of the fastest routes to fraud and data theft. We find the misconfigurations and identity gaps that expose you, and fix them.

Platforms we secure

Each platform has its own shared responsibility model and its own common mistakes.

  • Microsoft 365 & Entra ID
  • Google Workspace
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud Platform
  • SaaS apps connected via OAuth

Common findings

The issues we see most often are rarely exotic, which is exactly why attackers love them.

  • MFA gaps and legacy authentication still enabled
  • Over-privileged admins and service accounts
  • Publicly shared files and storage buckets
  • Mail forwarding rules used for fraud
  • Missing or unreviewed audit logs
  • Unvetted third-party app permissions
FAQ

Cloud & Microsoft 365 Security: common questions

Don’t see your question? Ask our security team directly.

Isn’t security the cloud provider’s job?

Only partly. Under the shared responsibility model, providers secure their infrastructure, while you are responsible for identities, access, configuration, and your data. Most cloud breaches trace back to customer-side misconfiguration or compromised credentials.

How do attackers take over Microsoft 365 accounts when we have MFA?

Through adversary-in-the-middle phishing pages that steal session tokens, MFA fatigue attacks, voice phishing that tricks help desks, and legacy protocols that bypass MFA. Phishing-resistant MFA, conditional access, and token protection close most of those paths.

Do you help with cloud migrations?

Yes. Together with our sister company, SwiftSoft Solutions, we help plan and execute migrations with security designed in from the start rather than added afterward.
